Take steps to prepare for your visit before you go. Write down some notes to bring with you. Include:

  • Any questions you may have
  • New symptoms you may be experiencing or symptoms that have changed since your last visit
  • Your family health history and concerns you may have about your health risk
  • A list of medications you take including over-the-counter medications, vitamins and other supplements

Another important step to prepare for an upcoming doctor visit is to review your benefits, so you’ll know what’s covered. Many health plans cover preventive services with no out-of-pocket costs. But your coverage depends on your specific plan.

Log into My Health Toolkit® any time to review your benefits, view your deductible balance or access your digital ID card. Or use the mobile app, and take your benefits information with you wherever you go.
